About the event
Learning about effective school-based occupational therapy practice is important. Successfully implementing it within the realities of schools is often the greater challenge.
The ESOT Implementation Lab is a collaborative learning and problem-solving open house forum designed to help practitioners translate evidence, professional learning, and innovative ideas into meaningful practice change. Through facilitated discussion, case consultation, reflective inquiry, and peer collaboration, participants explore real-world challenges related to evaluation, intervention, service delivery, workload management, collaboration, implementation, and systems-level practice.
Unlike traditional professional development, the ESOT Implementation Lab focuses on the practical realities of applying knowledge within complex educational environments. Participants are encouraged to bring current questions, implementation barriers, emerging ideas, difficult cases, and practice challenges for collaborative exploration and discussion.
